Personality Types

 According to this mini Meyers Briggs test, my personality type is INTJ. This stands for Introvert, Intuitive, Thinking, and Judging. Introvert means that I recharge by being by myself. Intuitive means that I think more about data inseated of just taking it directly as it is. Thinking means that I have to critically think things through instead of relying on feelings. Finally, judging means that I want things to be neat, orderly, and established.

 I think this evaluation describes me fairly well, especially the introvert and thinking aspects. I defintely prefer to keep to myself and never realy on my feelings or logic. However, I don't think the intuitive part is very accurate. Although I do like to be creative at times, I generally prefer straight facts over everything else. This evaluation of my personality can defintely help to explain why I don't have many friends. I am very aloof and often annoy people with how technical I am.

 When I am on a team I usually take on the role of the person who does everything because I don't really want to fail any of my classes. If I somehow get lucky enough to be on a team of people who are not idiots and also don't want to fail, then I still often take on the quiet leadership role because I want to make sure everything gets done well. People often don't understand why I don't understand their feelings which can often cause some problems with certain people. However, I typically don't understand that there's a problem because I don't really get emotions so it all works out pretty well for me.

 The main thing that I learned from this assignment is that there are a bunch of presidents who were INTJ's. I already knew that I am an emotionless loner so nothing new there. I guess it was still pretty cool to take this test, though, and see what came up.
According to the LOBGR animal based personality test, I am most like a beaver and a lion. The beaver personality says that I am organized, responsible, and a perfectionist. The lion personality means that I like to take lead, am very goal-oriented, and I enjoy challenges. I think this is a fairly accurate evaluation as I do enjoy order and generally want everything to be perfect. I also like to take charge in certain situations to ensure that this perfection is reached.

Videos I watched a few videos to start learning about typography. Although they weren't always the most exciting, I did learn a lot that I didn't even realize I needed to know. I learned about how critical fonts can be in getting a message across and how they are often the first impression that a consumer gets of a product. ONW Procedure Video

My first video project of my sophomore year was creating a video that showed how to go through a basic procedure at ONW. My group decided to show how to get a pass and go to the restroom. Initially, we were going to show what not to do as well as what you should do, but I decided to cut that out of my edit in order to make the video shorter. We had to start the process with coming up with a concept for the video. Luckily, we came up with the idea of getting a pass and going to the restroom fairly quickly. Once we did that, I wrote the script and the other group members created the storyboard. We were supposed to start filming the next day, but we got faulty equipment so we couldn't start until the next day. As far as our cast list, we just used the people in our group as actors in the video so that we wouldn't have to disturb any other groups or classes. My 10 Strengths Animation

Process For this project we had to come up with ten strengths that we possess. The ten that I came up with are  writing, honesty, loyalty, logical, intellectual, creative, patient, helpful, supportive, and humorous. I had to ask some friends to help me come up with some of them, which was very helpful. After we came up with these strengths, we had to find a photo to use as a background for our animation. I chose a large, old library because I love books and antiques. We then had to arrange our words on the background using different layers. In order to make them look pleasing, we had to experiment with fonts, sizes, and colors. Finally, we got to the animation part. unlike the last few times, we used the video option in photoshop to animate this particular project.
