Team Flags

The whole team experience was overall very interesting. We started out on Monday by learning about what various colors can mean and thinking about which one best expressed who we are as individuals. We also had to think of and research symbols that represented each of us. I chose black for my color and a heart for my symbol. I chose black as my color mostly because I really like it and I just thought it captured who I am, or at least a part of me. Black exudes thoughts and feelings of control, mystery, strength, and formality, all of which I identify with in one way or another. I chose a heart as my symbol partly because you wouldn't typically expect black to go with a heart, which goes along with the part of me that is unpredictable. Also, I simply didn't know what I wanted it to be, so I decided that a heart was simple and universal.

There were many creative differences in our group. Some people wanted to keep our design simple and separated, while others of us wanted it to be more free and wild. Over all, our design ended up being very simple, but we did add some fun craziness to it by adding fun, random symbols all over the place. When we got outside to create the final productIn the end, all members of our group were very happy with and proud of our team flag.
